Update: Jimmy passed away Tuesday April 1st about 11:15am with his wife, 2 good friends and his mother in law by his side. He will be cremated. Jimmy had turned 59 less than a month ago.

Update. Jimmy is now confined to bed. He can’t speak or eat anymore. Hospice has given him 48hrs give or take as he makes his final transition on this earth.

Thanks for clicking on this link. I don't even know where to start. This is probably the hardest thing I have ever had to write.

My best friend since childhood Susan and her husband of 22yrs Jimmy is going thru a very difficult time and I want to help as much as I can.

Jimmy is struggling with cancer and that fight is soon coming to an end. Today 03/19 Jimmy is going on Hospice.

Jimmy was diagnosed about 2017 and had surgery to remove a tumor from his liver. With in 2 years he had another tumor and it came back with a vengeance. It’s been hard fight ever since. Come to find out Jimmy's cancer was caused by contaminated blood pressure medicines he was on.

Jimmy also had to give up working many years ago and went on disability because of how sick he was.

To add insult to injury Susan lost her job of 2yrs in Aug 2024 after the company she went to work for went out of business. She had taken a leap of faith and left a job of 13yrs to manage the office of someone who was a long time acquaintance of hers. Thankfully she started a new job in Jan after a period of unemployment.

Susan’s car was also totaled last year when a tree limb fell on it and they used the money to pay bills while she was unemployed.

Susan's mother has also lived with them since her father’s passing in 2022.

Susan and Jimmy own a home in Chesterfield. It’s unknown if she will be able to afford the home on her own or if it will be sold down the road.

Jimmy's passing will bring on debt to cremate him, pay off any remaining medical bills and general expenses of the home they share.

I hope to lift some burden off Susan’s shoulders while she navigates a new journey in her life without her beloved husband. So many years are being stolen from them because of Cancer.

Anything is most appreciated for two very deserving people. The money will go to good use.
