Hello Everyone,
Sai Surya Tej Rachakonda, aged 25, a recent graduate, secured employment as Civil Engineer in his chosen occupation.
On 07 March 2022, between 6–6.30 PM Brisbane Time, he was found unconscious at Gold Coast Swimming pool and declared dead by medical staff. The paramedics spent approximately one hour reviving him but were not successful.
Surya was an exemplary individual known for his determination, dedication, resilience and joyous, fun nature at the same time. He was an excellent fast bowler for the clubs he played.
October 22, he cleared his Master’s Degree with distinction at Deakin University.

Jan 2022, this year, he secured full-time employment in his chosen occupation as Civil Engineer. He made a move to Gold Coast as part of his employment for this role.
In April this year, his parents were scheduled to arrive in Australia to visit him and celebrate his Graduation Ceremony.
Yesterday, 7th March 22, upon finishing his regular work shift, he reached his accommodation and went for a swim as part of his usual routine.
Unfortunately, he may have lost control this time around, rendering him unconscious and later declared dead.
His death is a tragic loss to his family, friends, colleagues, and anyone who has met him or known him. He has left family and friends in great sorrow.
Currently, the repatriation process is underway to send him to his home country, India, where his parents are going through an agonizing wait for his arrival.
Cremation rituals and ceremonies are scheduled in India upon his arrival.

All funds shall be used to perform the final rites, support his parents and celebrate his life the way he deserves.
