I’ve finally had my fibromyalgia diagnosed, after 4-5 years. I’ve lived with severe fatigue and increasing pain for so long that I’ve developed POTS as a secondary condition. As you can imagine, both conditions have completely changed my physical capacity. Despite it being most of my work experience, my health renders me unable to return to service work.

Transitioning my means of survival has been challenging, and accepting the reality of my health means admitting that I need help! I’m in the process of making my herbalism practice available, and figuring out what else I’m able to offer. In the meantime, help with supply costs and living expenses would mean the world. :’-)

This will help cover the cost of supplements and supplies that help me manage my conditions as well as shop supplies (bottles, shipping materials, etc.)

Symptom description for context:

POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) impacts my ability to regulate temp., especially in hot temps., as well as rapid heart rate shifts that can lead to nausea, vomiting, and fainting. The heart symptoms lead to severe chest pain after an episode, even with the help of prescribed beta blockers.

Fibromyalgia inhibits my body’s ability to process lactic acid and recover from physical activity. It also increases my physiological reactivity to stress, leading to adrenal fatigue. The combination of excess cortisol, adrenaline, and little-to-no energy production, means pain & fatigue persist for days after any kind of activity.
