Supermarket 86 is heading to the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland!
We are Mia Pelosi and Ellie Aslanian, the respective writer and director, as well as producers, of Supermarket 86.
Our show has been put up in New York City twice. It was a part of NYU Tisch’s Experimental Theater Wing’s Senior Thesis showings in 2022. In 2023, it had its professional debut at the New York Theater Festival.
After a successful run at the New York Theater Festival, we both made the choice to head to Edinburgh with our play! Performing at the largest performing arts festival in the world is not only an honor, but an incredible opportunity to share our story with more artists and open doors for our show.
And we need your help to get there! We are seeking funds to cover our venue rental, housing, rehearsal spaces, and promotional materials. We appreciate any and all donations. Thank you for supporting us. We really believe in our show, and we can't wait to share it with a larger audience!
