Support Sunshine's Journey Through Crohn's

Hi, my name is Sunshine, and in the next few weeks, I will be undergoing my fifth bowel resection, having been a long-time survivor of Crohn's disease. I've been permanently disabled since the age of 27. Our local surgical team is uncomfortable handling the magnitude of the damage this disease has caused in my body over the years. As a result of this, I have been placed in the care of Upstate Medical in Syracuse. For the next few months, I will be required to travel back and forth to Syracuse several times a week to see many different doctors.

Being that I am a mother of four, with three young children still at home, I could use some help financially. Between gas back and forth, and some of my experimental prescriptions not being fully covered by insurance, pushing for survival is becoming very expensive very quickly.
