On Friday 8th March 2019 I received a devastating call that my sister, mother of 2 Autistic children and wife of Geoff who also has significant health issues, had a horrible accident.
Jodie was airlifted to Royal Brisbane Hospital intensive care unit with severe head injuries.
Prior to the accident Jodie was the main career for her 2 Autistic children and her husband while he was recovering from his health struggles. Now that Jodie is in hospital the family are in URGENT need of assistance.
It is too early to know the extent of Jodie’s injuries as there’s a bleed on the brain. Suffice to say it will be a lengthy recovery in Brisbane.
I have started this GoFundMe page to raise funds to help with the ongoing costs of rehabilitation and to support Jodie’s family. If you know Jodie or her family, you will know that she was always willing to lend a helping hand when others were in need. Its our time to help her family. If you are able to contribute no matter what the amount, we will be so grateful.
