Hey y’all, I’m Sunny. In January 20, 2015 I was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis at 27 years old. Bronson and I are attending the International Alliance meetings as well as the Aplied Professionals Forum putting us in Toronto November 29 - December 2. Using my voice and experience to keep patients in the conversation at this high level of science has been a top priority of my journey with ALS. The scientific conference is in San Diego this year and we have decided to attend virtually. We are appreciative of any and all support to offset costs associated with travel.
About the symposium:
The International Symposium is the biggest annual conference dedicated to ALS and MND research. Each year we bring together researchers from around the world to share new understanding of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and motor neurone disease.
About the International Alliance:
The International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations was founded in 1992 to provide an international community for individual ALS/MND Associations globally. Our vision is world free of ALS/MND. We help members thrive by adding value to existing and future associations through the curation and creation of information, and by acting as a global gateway through which Alliance Members, PALS and CALS, internal, and external stakeholders connect.
