My sweet guy Sunshine(Sunny) is currently at the emergency hospital. He's suffered another urinary blockage, which is incredibly painful and dangerous. After a vet exam, we've learned he has a bladder stone and needs two surgeries: a cystotomy to remove the stone and a perineal urethrostomy (PU) to widen his urethra and prevent future blockages. Unfortunately, the medical bills are substantial, and I'm facing financial hardship due to my current job situation. I'm reaching out to my friends, family, and kind strangers for help. He has been in the hospital for 3 days now and they have just found the stone. If we can come up with the funding for it on Monday (3/3). The estimated cost is $5,500, in order to do the surgery and for the hospital stay, they need half of the total cost as a deposit which totals $2,750. Any amount I can recieve is helpful.

Sunny is my sweet big guy who brings me the most joy in my life. I don’t know what it would be like without him and hope to never find out. It’s odd to say but I feel he understands me verbally and emotionally, he knows when I’m sad or happy or anxious and it hurts me knowing he’s feeling pain and anguish and there’s nothing I can do to fix it immediately. I love my guy so much and just want him to get through this
