Chows Plus Rescue rescued Sunny from a Central California shelter, where he was at risk of euthanasia. Thanks to a loving foster home, he finally got a second chance—but soon after, his foster noticed he was limping and struggling to use his rear leg.
After a veterinary exam and X-rays, Sunny was diagnosed with hip dysplasia on both sides. At just 14 months old, this sweet boy is already facing significant pain. He urgently needs femoral head ostectomy (FHO) surgery on one hip, followed by surgery on the other once he has healed. Right now, we are only seeking funds for one side so he can get healed before doing the other side.
We’re asking for your support to help Sunny get the care he needs to live a happy, pain-free life. No donation is too small—every contribution makes a difference.
Chows Plus Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible.
