Help Sunny Boy heal from a Tragic Dog attack

On December 30, 2024, my beloved Sunny Boy, a rescue chihuahua, was tragically mauled by a neighbor's dog that broke through the fence and got into my backyard. Despite sustaining multiple cervical fractures, Sunny is a fighter and miraculously survived. The vets are optimistic about his recovery, but it will take a long time—anywhere from three months to a year. The vet bills to save his life already have reached $7,000, with more costs anticipated as he continues to heal.

As a 70-something senior, I work tirelessly driving for Lyft and Uber just to make ends meet. I’m also the caretaker of two older rescued chihuahuas. While the neighbor feels terrible about what happened, they’re renters and unfortunately don’t have the means and are unable to contribute to Sunny's medical expenses.

I’ve started this GoFundMe to help pay down the credit card debt incurred to cover Sunny’s lifesaving treatment so far. Every donation, no matter how small, will help give this brave little pup the chance to live out the happy, healthy life he deserves.
