On Wednesday, November 5th, Suniya went to the mall for what was supposed to be a normal day. While she was there, she noticed a woman yelling at her children. When Suniya glanced over, the woman suddenly became aggressive — yelling at her, cussing her out, and running toward her.

Suniya tried to stay calm and avoid confrontation, but after being hit twice, she defended herself. In a shocking and heartbreaking turn of events, the woman pulled out a knife and stabbed Suniya four times, puncturing her lung. She was rushed to the hospital and has since been recovering from this traumatic and life-threatening attack.

Suniya works two jobs, but because of her injuries and recovery process, she’s now being forced to take multiple weeks off work. On top of that, she’s facing major medical bills, therapy costs, and legal fees.

To make things even harder, the news rushed to post about the incident without getting her full side of the story or even the suspect’s statement. Despite her agreeing to an interview, they refused to share the truth out of fear of admitting they were wrong — choosing instead to use the situation for views and clicks.
