Hello, my name is Daniel Hogg, and I am starting this fundraiser for Summer, my daughter. She is a single mom who needs a car for transportation to and from work and to do necessary errands. Summer has strong faith to keep going and not give up. But Summer has been struggling in the past couple of years to get back on her feet from a bad abusive relationship. All or any donations will go directly into her own account for getting Summer a car so she can rebuild her life.

Summer and her daughter, Kalli (my granddaughter), need a car or small SUV so she can get a better job and stop depending on rides to and from work from neighbors and her boss. It is hard for Summer to keep trying to find ways to work and back and trying to get at least 30 hours a week when she needs 40 or more. Summer wants to be full-time and get benefits like medical and dental. She needs to get the job with medical insurance for her daughter and herself. Without a car, it is hard for her to get a full-time, better-paying job with medical insurance for them. She has been without her own transportation for a few years now and her daughter needs some medical care at times.

Summer has a lot of faith that keeps her going, hoping one day things will change for the better. If she had her own transportation, this would accelerate her life from the depression she has each day for trying to figure out how to get anywhere.

Summer and her daughter, Kalli, were in a house fire last year and lost three-quarters of their personal belongings. Practically all the money Summer had been saving to get transportation was used for replacement items the fire destroyed. This has really made times difficult for Summer and Kalli since then. All and any funds raised will go directly to Summer’s bank account for a car so she and Kalli can get back on track with their life. Summer is looking for something in a mid-size car or small SUV like these types: Hyundai, Honda, Nissan.

I am raising funds so Summer can have a dependable vehicle. Summer makes very little money because of not having a car, so raising enough funds will cover registration, tags, and insurance.

Summer needs her own transportation for things like:

A way to work; in case of an emergency; independence; a way to the doctor so she does not have to rely on finding a ride. She needs her own transportation to get a better full-time job, and transportation for herself and Kalli’s needs as well.
