There are no words that can fully capture the heartbreak our family is experiencing. Summer Rose, just 15 years old, was involved in a tragic golf cart accident while on vacation. Despite the incredible efforts of the doctors and countless prayers from friends, family, and even strangers. Summer's injuries proved too severe and she ultimately succumbed to the trauma to her brain. In the midst of overwhelming grief, Danielle made the selfless decision to honor Summer’s life through organ donation. Even in her passing, Summer’s generosity has the potential to save and improve the lives of many others—a beautiful legacy that reflects the light she brought to this world.

Now Danielle is facing every parent’s worst nightmare while also carrying the financial burdens that come with such a devastating loss. Between funeral and medical expenses, transportation costs, household bills, and the many unexpected costs that follow a tragedy, the weight is overwhelming.
