This summer, I am raising funds to provide over 700 books to students at Pinehurst Elementary School in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. Many children experience significant learning loss over the summer months, especially in reading, and this gap is even larger in under-resourced schools. With literacy rates declining nationwide, access to books is more important now than ever. My goal is to raise $3,500 to ensure students have engaging, age-appropriate reading materials to continue learning outside the classroom.
