On August 14th, Summer was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer and more testing is underway to see if it has progressed further. She is currently unable to work and is expected to be off work for 6 months or more.

Anyone who has watched a loved one battle cancer knows how overwhelming the journey can be-physically, emotionally and financially. Summer now faces a long road of chemo treatments and challenges.

Summer and Robert are not ones to ask for help and they didn’t ask for it but I am creating this fundraiser to help lift some of the financial burden so Summer can focus on fighting this disease!

Your donation will go directly to Summer and towards any out of pocket medical treatments, medications, procedures, travel costs to and from appointments and everyday expenses to keep the household running. Robert has also had to take time off work to take her to appointments and to care for her.
