Support Sukwan Cho's Battle with Stomach Cancer

Our names are Nico and Arrah Cho, and we are writing on behalf of our mother, Sukwan Cho (also known as Sue). Our mother was very recently diagnosed with Stage 3 stomach cancer and has had to abruptly stop working to undergo treatment. This news was devastating to us, and would be difficult for any family but feels especially so as our father, Sean, suffered a stroke in late 2023. Now, we find that both of our parents are out of work while they take the time and care necessary to recover from serious health problems. While Arrah and I can provide some financial support, it is not enough to cover the costs of our everyday lives and the costs of our parents’ everyday as our mother begins her treatment, which will include several weeks of chemotherapy, followed by surgery, then another several weeks of chemo.

Cancer treatment is no easy feat, and financial stability is essential to anyone, anywhere, and certainly in times of hardship as it plays a huge role in one’s physical, mental, and emotional health. We hope to use the money collected from these donations to help support our parents financially over the next few months. We know that times are hard for everyone these days and would appreciate any amount donated. Anything helps, and we are grateful for the support we have already received from friends and family as we navigate this abrupt and difficult change in our lives.

Those who know our mother know she is a funny, charismatic, effervescent woman who loves to make people laugh and smile, and who is caring and loving, and we wish to see her beat this. Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story, and again we greatly appreciate any help.
