Support Sue’s Recovery After Severe Infection
Donation protected
Sue’s journey has been incredibly difficult. After having a knee replacement, she endured a year of pain before it was discovered that the replacement hardware was broken. What was supposed to be a solution turned into a much longer struggle. When Sue went in for surgery to address the broken hardware, doctors found a severe infection in her leg. This led to the removal of the knee replacement hardware, and because of the infection, she cannot have it replaced until the infection is completely gone, which may not be until after July 4th. In the meantime, Sue is non-ambulatory and unable to walk, making daily life extremely challenging.
Since April 30th, Sue has been receiving IV antibiotics and is fighting hard to recover. The infection has not only taken a toll on her health but has also created a heavy financial burden. She is unable to work and is struggling to cover mounting medical bills, costly medications, and basic living expenses. With the uncertainty of when she will be able to have surgery and regain mobility, Sue needs support from her community now more than ever. You may not recognize Sue because she is consistently serving in Pathway Kids and loving on those precious children and sharing the love of Jesus with them.
Funds raised will go directly toward Sue’s medical bills, medications, and essential living costs while she focuses on healing. Any help will make a real difference in her journey to recovery and help relieve some of the stress she is facing during this difficult time.
