In loving memory of our Sue, we are creating this fund to continue the work that meant the most to her: caring for community cats and supporting the rescuers who carry on her mission.

Sue’s dedication to animals, especially cats, is nothing short of extraordinary. Over the past decade, she personally trapped, vetted, spayed/neutered, and cared for more than a thousand cats. Through her Instagram page, @cozycommunitycats, she built a community of nearly 1,500 people who followed her daily efforts to protect, advocate for, and love the cats who had no one else. Each winter, she hand-built hundreds of insulated shelters and sold them at cost, making sure outdoor cats had warmth and safety. She spent her time, her resources, and her heart ensuring that these animals were cared for with dignity and compassion.

This fund has been created to support Sue's legacy and continued cat rescue efforts directly.

All donations will go toward:

• Food and ongoing daily care for Sue’s cat colonies

• Spay/neuter, vaccinations, and emergency vet care

• Supplies such as shelters, traps, and medications

Sue lived her life with fierce kindness, endless determination, and a deep belief in doing what was right. By contributing, you are helping ensure that her colonies continue to receive the care she provided so tirelessly, and that the rescuers carrying her torch have the support they need.
