Funeral Expenses for Sue

Sue has had a long road with polycystic kidney disease. Two 1/2 years ago she started diaylisis three days a week. When the call came on July 16,2024 that a kidney came in, Sue took the the first chance she could get at a kidney transplant. July 17, 2024 was operation day for her new kidney. Surgery went great! She had a few days in the hospital and then was discharged to a nearby hotel due to many follow up appointments. Within 3 days she was back in the hospital with sepsis. This hospital stay lasted a little over a month. Since her first hospital stay, Sue has endured many infections that her own body is creating leaving her with multiple hospital stays. With each infection comes acute kidney injury to her new kidney. Sue also has heart issues that play along to her multiple diagnoses.

January 13th 2025 . Sue has been in the ICU at fairview hospital for over a week in critical conditon with no improvements , she is having multiple strokes and seizures along with another blood infection they said was very uncommon and can be hard and slow to treat . Family has been traveling back and fourth and staying in hotels nearby to be close to Sue.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated by the family to help them with hotel expenses , gas , and any unknown bills .

A benefit/silent auction was going to be planned but that is on pause at the moment as Sue is in critical condition.
