Hi, my name is Kristie Smeltzer, and I'm setting up this GoFundMe for folks to help support my sister, Sue Smeltzer, as she undergoes treatment for late-stage cancer.

At the beginning of April, Sue went to the hospital and was shocked to receive a grim cancer diagnosis. She's been in the hospital ever since. Her cancer requires aggressive chemo, and after receiving her first round, she encountered a series of complications that almost took her life. Please help support her and her family as they navigate this difficult time.

As we all unfortunately know, medical treatment is extremely costly. Additionally, Sue will not be able to return to work and others in her family will need to be able to take time away to help with her care. I cannot imagine getting the news that you have limited time left to live and having money be a constant pressing worry. Anything you can do to support Sue will help her and her family greatly.

Funds raised through this campaign will be used to help with medical bills, living expenses, and covering lost income.
