Our beloved volunteer coordinator, Sue Thomas, has very recently received the scary news of lung cancer that has spread. Treatment will begin soon and our team plans to support her and love her in any way we can during this time. We hope we can show Sue how much she is loved and supported.

Sue joined Lifepath at a time when volunteers were not remotely on the radar due to COVID. Over time, we have watched her steadily grow the volunteer program to something we are very proud of. Whether she’s giving out her famous hand massages, reading books, browsing magazines, playing music, bringing delicious snacks (a favorite!) or just lending an open ear to patients and families, Sue is sharing love with everyone around her. It’s impossible to express how much love we have for her…even when she is causing a ruckus with other team members during our meetings.

When she’s not spending time with her family (Dr. Jennifer Prime, and grandsons Jake and Jesse) and members of the community, Sue is spending her time assisting the rescue shelters! She is passionate about animal rescue often transporting dogs to their new families for various animal shelters.

Sue also has the trip of a lifetime planned for May of 2024 to Europe on a cruise through France that she has been looking forward to for months. She and her family are praying that treatment is successful so they can can celebrate while sipping champagne in Paris.
