I am Joann Schiele and on behalf of all of her friends I created this Go Fund Me page for Sue Smith. Sue was admitted to JFK University Medical Center a month ago where she has undergone three surgeries already and facing yet another one. Once she is discharged she will be transferred to a rehab facility. Sue works hard as an Animal Control officer and routinely dog sits and provides her EMT experience as a caregiver for the elderly. She is a devoted volunteer to Greyhound Friends of NJ and has dedicated countless hours to helping dogs in need of a safe haven. Due to her illness her expenses are mounting and she is unable to work. Sue has given so much to her friends and her community and we now hope to do the same for her. Any donation to offset the costs will be immensely appreciated and we hope you will keep her in your thoughts. We will continue to provide updates on Sue’s condition and we know she will express her gratitude when she is able.
