My cousin, Subhan, was a incredible young boy. He was always there to support his loved ones, while also focusing on making a life in the United States. He and his brother along side his parents came to the United States from Afghanistan in 2024, amidst the Taliban conflict within Afghanistan. Him and his family had the dreams of going around the USA to go see family, obtain employment, and also gain an education that was scarce during the time they where in their homeland. All of the Rahmim's are an extremely hardworking family, always gaining an education, being employed, while subhan was trying his hardest to gain a better understanding and knowledge of what he wanted to do in the united states (work, school, colleges, ect ). All of these opportunities where a dream where they almost achieved, but on 1/15/26 these opportunities where wiped. Subhan was walking with his friends to go to the mall when a driver under the influence had hit him. The driver was going speeds over the posted limit which was 35 MPH. The driver veered on the sidewalk hitting subhans leg, and his body flew upwards onto the hood of the vehicle, where his head hit the windshield seriously injuring his head and his leg. He was rushed to INOVAs hospital in woodburn Va with life threatening injuries. Once he arrived to the hospital, doctors told the family he was initally declared deceased but was successfully resuscitated and was placed on multiple life support machines to keep him with us. Doctors told us he is in a induced coma to ensure inflammation to the brain can heal and also to see progress to further injuries. Doctors also told us that there was internal bleeding to the stomach and an injury to the spine, but these looking promising for recovery. There was also bleeding to the brain due to the impact but was successfully cleared due to surgery. With days being in the ICU, both of subhans parents are out of work as well as his older brother Sorosh. All of them make ends meet to ensure they have housing, food, and other essentials but as a result of this horrific indecent, they are all out of work being there to be there with their loving son and brother. With being out of work, they have not enough of funds to help support themselves, and with this, their future is unclear of how long their financial struggles will be. All donations will go completely to their needs ( Medical support, Housing, rehabilitation, transportation, lost wages ). This support will help relive one burden off my cousins shoulders and be able to not worry about any financial struggles. We understand that times might be hard for some people, but even if it is sharing someones struggle to help raise awareness, it could help bring some light to the darkness that they are going through. I want to call for action, help, bring everyone close to spreed awareness to driving under the influence. Look at the harm it causes, it could happen any second, any minute. All thoughts and prayers are also asked for our boy Subhan who is fighting for his life in the ICU. SHARE HIS STORY!!!!

سبحان رحیمی

جوانی که تازه سالگره پانزده سالگی اش را با همه فامیل رنج کشیده اش که سالها زحمت کشیدند و این جوان را بزرگ ساخته به امید و آرزو دو سال قبل وارد امریکا شدند

پدر مادر و برادر هژده ساله اش که آرزو های خود را کنار گزاشته دو جای کار می‌کرد تا بتواند آرزو های سبحان جان را برآورده سازد به تاریخ پانزده جنوری ساعت شش شام دنیای شان تاریک شد

لحظه ای پیش با مادرش به تلفون بود که به مادر درداری بدهد که جای دور نمیرود و در زی بلدنگ که زندگی میکنند با رفیق اش است با گزاشتن تلفون موتری که باید به اسپید سسی و پنج میرفت به اسپید هفتاد که مو تر ران هم بچه ای خورد سال ولی نشه و بیخود بود سبحان را با موتر خود زد و همه آرزو های خودش و فامیل زحمت کشش را پاشان نمود

هر سه نفر اعضای فامیل کار و همه زندگی را گوشه گزاشته روزها ‌شب های دراز را به شفا خانه سپری میکنند
