Stu is a blocked 5 month old paraplegic kitten. Tuesday morning his normal morning expression was not possible. He went in for an appointment he had for a squinty eye and Dr. Becky at Angel Veterinary Clinic also was unable to express his bladder. They tried to place a catheter with no sedation but he unfortunately has enough feeling down there to make it impossible without sedation. We were sent home with some tips to see if we could get urine moving overnight at home but have been unsuccessful thus far. The estimated cost to do a sedated catheter and bladder flush is $550. This could fix it or it could reoccur. Unfortunately with that possibility i am really only able to try the once and hope for the best. Donations would go towards unblocking, and or euthanasia and cremation if it comes to that. Urinary blockages are deadly and i wont let him suffer. If he pees on his own overnight all donations would be refunded! Fingers crossed for that. I would regret not trying for him at least once so i have decided to make him a second fundraiser. Thank you for your consideration.
