That is why the FOC Academic & Leadership Scholarship Fund exists.

My name is Pastor Edwin Strickland, and I have the privilege of serving as the Senior Pastor of Fellowship of Champions Church. Since 2016, our church has been committed to investing in students whose character, leadership, and academic achievement have prepared them for the next chapter of life but whose financial circumstances have created significant obstacles.

Because of the extraordinary generosity of people like you, the FOC Academic & Leadership Scholarship Fund has awarded nearly $500,000 in scholarships, helping students pursue degrees at colleges and universities as well as certifications through vocational and technical schools. Every scholarship represents far more than financial assistance. It represents hope, opportunity, encouragement, and the confidence that an entire community believes in a student's future.

Why This Matters

Education remains one of the greatest pathways to opportunity. It opens doors that once seemed impossible, equips students with valuable knowledge and skills, strengthens families, and creates future leaders who will positively influence their communities for generations.

Many of the students we serve are the first in their families to pursue higher education. Others have overcome tremendous personal and financial challenges simply to reach graduation day. They have done the hard work. They have earned acceptance into college or trade school. They have demonstrated resilience, discipline, and leadership.

What they need now is someone willing to help bridge the financial gap.

Our Goal for This Year

This year, we are believing God to raise $100,000 to continue expanding the impact of the FOC Academic & Leadership Scholarship Fund.

Scholarship applications are already being received, and every additional dollar we raise allows us to invest in more deserving students. Every gift increases our ability to say "yes" to another young person who has worked tirelessly for the opportunity to continue their education.

Without the continued generosity of our community, some qualified students may receive reduced assistance or no scholarship support at all.

We believe that no student's future should be determined solely by their financial circumstances.
