Ladue Students Helping Students Affected By HurricaneHelene

Ladue Horton Watkins High School's Youth Envoy and the school district are raising funds to help the students affected by Hurricane Helen regain a sense of normalcy during this holiday season. *Donations will be tax-deductible by partnering with the student-led Upakara Foundation, a 501c3 Charity.

Students in North Carolina endured profound losses, including family members, homes, and all their belongings, including essential school supplies. Monetary donations are encouraged as they will have the flexibility to be utilized for critical items these students need to be administered with each school district. With your help, we also plan on giving to the Elementary students

•Children’s Books,•Coloring Books•Crayons•Blankets•Clothes

•Shoes •Stuffed Animals•Water Bottles•Backpacks and more.

*We are also Collecting Clothing, including coats for cold weather, for students of all sizes ( New or gently used ones only.) We will have boxes in all 5 Ladue schools to collect them.

Our fundraiser will aid five school district students in Buncombe, Asheville, Rutherford, Henderson, and Lowndes.

*Medical Help International is a disaster & medical relief charity that will help us with Transportation and distribution.
