Support Student in Continuing her Education
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Merel, and I’m a full-time undergraduate student at Cleveland State University working toward my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, while also working full-time to support myself. I’ve pushed through long days, late nights, and a mountain of responsibilities because I believe deeply in the work I want to do: serving communities, advocating for mental health, and creating lasting change.
But despite my best efforts, I’m at a breaking point. Right now, I’m facing a financial hold on my student account. That means I can’t register for classes, request transcripts, or move forward toward my degree until it’s paid. I’ve applied for scholarships, I’ve budgeted every cent, and I’ve poured my soul into doing everything “the right way.” I’ve tried to carry all of this with grace, but I’m exhausted. And truthfully, overwhelmed. This GoFundMe is not about asking for a handout. It’s about asking for support at a time when things have become harder than I ever imagined. I am currently trying to raise $3,000, not to eliminate all of my worries, but to lift the weight just enough so I can breathe again, stay enrolled, and keep working toward my future.
If you’ve ever been a student, if you’ve ever worked hard and still found yourself in need, if you simply believe in helping someone who’s trying their best, I’d be deeply grateful for anything you can give.
Thank you for reading, for sharing, for caring.
With love and resilience,
Merel
