I am a graduate student at Herron School of Art + Design raising money for myself and 14 undergraduate students to travel from Indiana to an iron pour conference in Birmingham, Alabama. Sloss furnaces are hosting the 2025 National Conference on Contemporary Cast Iron Art which includes discussion, performances, exhibitions, panels, and the opportunity for us to run our own iron pour. Your support means getting us one step closer to the experience of a lifetime and furthering our education beyond the classroom. The metal arts are those of risk and expense but great reward.
