We are deeply saddened to share that Stuart has now passed away following the medical emergency described below.

To ensure the funds raised can still support the intended purposes, Stuart’s brother Gavin has been added as the beneficiary of this fundraiser. Gavin will receive the funds and work closely with their family to ensure they are used to help cover the hospital costs and other related expenses, including helping bring Stuart home to the UK.

We are incredibly grateful for the support that has already been shown to Stuart and his family during this very difficult time.

Our wonderful friend Stuart suffered serious complications following highly complex heart surgery in the Philippines earlier this February.

Nearly two years ago, Stuart moved to the Philippines with his wife Simone and their beloved dog Blue to pursue his career ambitions.

As of 3rd March, the additional medical costs beyond insurance have reached approximately $153,000 USD / £115,000 GBP, We will continue to negotiate these costs with the hospital in the hope they can be reduced.
