Hi everyone! I’m reaching out because a friend of mine, Sylvia, is in a tough spot. She’s a single mom and a dental assistant at our FQHC dental clinic, but she had to leave her job to care for her son, Christopher. Sadly, Christopher was diagnosed with a high-grade, aggressive tumor in his pelvis that’s spread to his sacrum . He’ll need several rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. Since she’s not working and is currently living between the hospital and her home to care her parents and younger son, she could really use any help she can get. She’s truly my hero.
