My name is Molly, and I started Strong Roots Connections LLC in Westland, Michigan after my own struggle with perinatal mental health disorders. I know firsthand how isolating and overwhelming the journey into parenthood can be, especially when support is hard to find. That experience inspired me to create a space where new moms can connect, share, and build a sense of community together.

Strong Roots Parent Cafes are in-person events that I personally lead. Each gathering includes a one-on-one conversation with another attendee, followed by three twenty-minute group discussions focused on themes that reinforce mental health boosters, like self-care and building connections within our communities. My goal is to make every mom feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate the challenges of early parenthood.

The first Parent Cafe is already booked for November 11 from 12-3pm at the AOH Hall on 5 Mile in Redford. To make these events possible, I need help covering venue costs, providing light refreshments, and creating outreach materials like fliers and business cards. Your support will help me launch these vital gatherings and reach more moms who need a safe, welcoming space.
