UPDATE ON PROGRESS OF STROKE RECOVERY:

I'm making progress in the third week of outpatient rehabilitation. I hope to be back at work soon. Medical bills are piling up, so any generous donations would be appreciated.

I am excited to announce the creation of my non-profit, #fxckStroke.org. This organization will focus on educating the public about cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) and strokes. Time is critical when it comes to strokes, and recognizing the signs and symptoms quickly can save lives.

My background in nursing helped me get to the emergency department fast during my stroke, but not everyone has the knowledge to act swiftly. #fxckStroke.org aims to change that by providing valuable information and resources to help people understand the importance of early detection and intervention.
