My name is Genevieve, and I’ve created this GoFundMe for my friend and neighbor, Stormy. She is a hardworking single mom of four wonderful children, and she unexpectedly suffered a mild stroke last week. Because of this, she will be unable to work for several weeks — possibly months — until she is medically cleared to return with necessary accommodations.

Stormy will soon be discharged from the hospital and transferred to inpatient rehab, where she’ll focus on regaining full mobility on her right side. Once she returns home, she will need 24/7 support until her doctors determine she can safely be on her own.

All funds raised will help her mother maintain the household and care for the children while Stormy is away, assist with any medical equipment she may need when she returns home, and go toward the significant medical expenses already accumulating.
