My name is Storm Bain. On July 4th, 2025, I was on my way home to celebrate with family when a Jeep failed to give me the right of way and collided with me and my motorcycle.

The end result: the bike is totaled, my leg was fractured, and I'm now looking at multiple knee surgeries.

With that being said, what's at stake is my future of joining the SC DNR and serving my community and state that I live in, because of physical issues.

Currently, I can't return to my current job as a heavy machine operator because I can't climb into the machinery.

Because of someone else's negligence, I'm having to suffer. If I lose my current job, I stand a great risk of losing my medical insurance.

I'm asking for help to make sure my co-pays are met and other occurring bills that are mounting. Physical therapy is next on the list to find range of motion, then surgery on ACL and PCL, and more rehabilitation.
