We are reaching out on behalf of an incredible woman who is facing one of the toughest battles of her life.

Storme is the definition of strength, kindness, and resilience. She has always been the person others can count on — a hardworking, self-employed woman who has built her life through dedication and determination. But beyond that, she is also the sole caregiver and provider for her husband, who is living with dementia. Every single day, she gives her time, energy, and heart to making sure he is safe, cared for, and loved.

Now, Storme is preparing for open heart surgery.

This life-saving procedure will require a long recovery, and during that time, she will be unable to work. As someone who is self-employed, this means no income at all while she heals. Despite everything she is going through, her biggest concern is not herself — it’s how she will continue to provide for her husband and keep their household running.

Storme has spent her life showing up for others without hesitation. Now, she needs us to show up for her.
