No one really likes to ask for help, and sometimes we really need it, that’s why I’m asking for your help for my daughter, some of you know her as Chyne and some of you know her as Storm ChaseHer.

She recently suffered a serious injury while doing what she loves most — playing roller derby. During a game, she tore both her ACL and MCL, a painful and devastating injury that now requires reconstructive surgery and a long road to recovery. As you can imagine, this has been an overwhelming time for her physically, emotionally, and financially.

She’ll be out of work for an extended period as she recovers from surgery and goes through rehab. In addition to everyday bills piling up, she’s also facing medical expenses (copays, other out-of-pocket expenses, and travel expenses for appointments).

If you know Storm/Chyne, you know she’s a fighter — on the track and in life. She’s passionate, hardworking, plays with heart, and shows up for her teammates, whether they’re on opposing teams or not. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.

Injuries like this don’t just take a physical toll — they can take a financial one too. Every dollar, share, and word of support will help ease the burden and allow her to focus on what really matters: healing and getting back on her feet (and skates!).
