Help Stitch Recover After a Vicious Dog Attack
Hi everyone,
On September 18th, our sweet dog Stitch was brutally attacked by an off-leash Pitbull in our neighborhood. This dog had a known history of aggression, yet the owner failed to take even the most basic precautions—no leash, no muzzle, and no control.
Stitch suffered serious abdominal injuries and intense trauma. While he was initially treated and sent home with stitches and antibiotics, things took a turn for the worse. The infection in his wound became far more serious than the vets initially expected, eventually eating through his tissue and reopening the stitches, despite being on antibiotics. He was rushed back to the vet and is now undergoing emergency surgery and intensive medical care.
To make matters worse, the vets are still unsure of the exact cause of the infection. They now need to run additional lab tests to identify the underlying virus or bacteria responsible, delaying treatment decisions and increasing medical costs. Until they know what they’re dealing with, they have to monitor him closely and adjust his care as more information comes in.
If you know Stitch, you know he’s more than just a pet. He’s a loving, playful, and gentle soul who brings joy to everyone he meets—whether it’s family, friends, or neighbors. He’s known for his warm cuddles, endless kisses, and goofy charm.
While we’re incredibly grateful he’s still with us, the costs of treatment, surgery, lab testing, and extended vet care are overwhelming and growing by the day. We’re humbly asking for your help.
Your donation will go directly toward Stitch’s medical care, recovery, and any follow-up treatment he may need. Whether you’re able to contribute financially or simply share this campaign, we’re so grateful for your love and support.
Thank you for helping us give Stitch the chance to heal and return to the happy, loving life he deserves.
