Hello. My name is Melody and my cat's name is Stiles. She's 9 years old and she's my baby. A few days ago, she started throwing up. A lot. And she started growling, hissing, hiding, and just not acting like herself. Me, terrified out of my mind, decided to take her to an emergency vet because it was Sunday.

They had to do an X-ray, blood work, and tried to do a urine test but couldn't because she had an accident (my poor baby was so scared and me crying in the exam room probably didn't help). After tests, they determined that she has Pancreatitis, which baffled the vet since cats don't usually get that.

They gave her an antibiotic, some anti-nausea meds, and a pain medication to take home. The next day, she started acting weird again. For hours, she was growling, hissing, and yowling. She didn't want anyone near her. She took to hiding under the bed and in the closet and stayed curled in on herself. So, I contacted the vet again. They wanted to give her an anti-nausea medication to take home, a different pain med (evidently the first one wasn't the right kind), and a prescription food to try out.

If in 24 hours, she's not better, I will have to bring her in again. All of this has severely exhausted my CareCredit card. I don't know how I will be able to pay for any further treatment when I'm already facing debt with just the past two days.

So, I'm asking for any donations to help me pay the original two vet bills. I want to make sure if I do have to take her back/need further treatment, then I have the money to do so. As it is, I won't be able to afford anything else and I'm already stressed about how I'm going to pay off the other vet bills.

Anything would help so much. Please help me save my baby.
