Meet Stewy, a 3 and a half year old beardie. She’s been with me since she was a baby. I got her and she had ADV. From her ADV, she had seizures. As she got older, they got better. She hasn’t had one in a while, thankfully. Due to her having ADV, she has had countless respiratory infections. Over this past year, I needed to spay her last May. Since then, she has had countless respiratory infections. Due to having so many, her lung collapsed and we needed to do a CT scan. It came back that she has a collapsed lung as well as fatty liver disease.

I'm trying to help Stewy any way I can, but as bearded dragons are one of the only species that can regrow their reproductive tract, she has unfortunately developed eggs again. Unfortunately, with her having fatty liver and a collapsed lung, surgery is the only option to get the follicles out, even though it’s a fearful option with all of her health issues. We just did blood work to make sure her liver is strong enough to withstand surgery. If you can help contribute to Stewy's spay, it’s appreciated.
