Support Stewart’s Steer Project During Health Challenges
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Stewart Caldwell and I’m a student who raised a market steer for the California Mid State Fair this year. Unfortunately, I was recently diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematous and juvenile dermatomyositis, causing me to miss most of my junior year of high school-and due to health decline, I was not able to show my steer at the fair.
I am planning on having my steer processed and selling shares of the meat to private buyers; however, I will still be out of quite a bit of money. I’m not expecting to profit but am just hoping to break even and recover what I invested this year. This is essentially replacing what add-ons would have been at the fair, a way for people to support me and my project without having to commit to purchasing an animal.
If you are interested in purchasing a meat share, please contact me directly by September 1st. Purchasing a meat share means you’ll receive high-quality, locally raised beef — processed at a USDA-inspected facility — while also helping me recover the costs of my FFA project
Any support is greatly appreciated, and I am so thankful for recognition of the time and effort I put into this project, especially through my recent health challenges.
Thank you so much for your generosity.
