Support Stevie's Family to Prevent Homelessness

Please help me and my family avoid an eviction!

My name is Stevie Honeker, and I work for the Vail School District. For the past few years, I have been the sole provider for my mother, who has been unable to work due to various health problems, and my 16-year-old sister, who has autism and OCD. Money has always been tight, but things started to look up recently when my mother was able to get a part-time job. However, only a few days in, she had to have emergency eye surgery for her glaucoma. This made her miss a lot of work, and she was ultimately let go. This also caused me to take multiple unpaid days from work to transport her to and from appointments.

As a result, we were unable to pay August rent and are now being evicted from our one-bedroom apartment. We are unable to come up with both August’s late rent and the upcoming September rent, and if we are evicted now, we have nowhere to go and WILL end up in a shelter. My family has been through a lot these last few years, and we don’t want to lose the little stability we have left.

Please help us raise funds to avoid the eviction and get us back on our feet. Any help is deeply appreciated!
