PLEASE HELP! Stevie Nicks (adopted name Ripley) was a rescue from Perfect Paws in Warrior, AL. They found her at a dumping ground for dogs and brought her to their rescue. She was quarantined and had her first set of shots.

She is a precious and happy girl but has recently become extremely sick with pneumonia (both lungs) and is being tested for Covid and distemper. She was admitted to Steel City Vet on Tuesday and is receiving IV meds and on oxygen. They have done 3 ultrasounds and an X-ray since being there. We are being told one of her lungs looks terrible, so they want to put her on increased high-flow oxygen and send off the panel to test for Covid and distemper. So far, we have paid $4500, with this new bill being $1600 for the panels to be sent off and high-flow oxygen. They will have to do more ultrasounds to check her lungs too.

Any help will be appreciated. We have had her 2 weeks and can say this is the most expensive rescue I've had! She's our 5th rescue, and we have 2 more at our house.
