Hi there! We're raising money for our dog Stevie Licks, who had a bad fall while jumping off the bed and colliding with our other pup. He sustained two fractures and joint damage, and we've been told it's the equivalent of a broken ankle. Unfortunately, Stevie needs expensive surgery to fix the joint damage and will need an implant with metal rods for the rest of his life. It's been a tough year for our family, and we would really appreciate this help covering the cost.

We adopted Stevie from a rescue after he’d suffered mistreatment in his past. When we first brought him home, he was scared of almost everything, loud noises, sudden movements, and people. With patience, love, and the help of a wonderful trainer, we watched him slowly regain his confidence and learn to trust people again. He’s come such a long way, and his goofy, loving personality has brought so much light into our lives.

This year has already tested us in many ways, and Stevie’s accident has been especially heartbreaking. We just want to give him the chance to heal and get back to the happy, playful dog he’s become. Any help toward his surgery and recovery means the world to us. When we’re able, we plan to pay it forward and support other families going through heartbreak with their pets.
