Support Steve's Recovery from Assault

On June 30 this year in Prineville, Oregon, my Brother Steve was brutally attacked in his own apartment. The male forcibly kicked in his door then told my brother someone is going to die. He viciously beat my brother with his fist and a hammer all while recording and posting live to Facebook. By the grace of God, someone saw the video and called 911. My brother was found and rushed to the trauma ward at St. Charles Bend. His injuries are devastating. He has multiple skull and facial fractures, a broken nose, broken jaw, and a severe concussion. Doctors have told us he will need multiple surgeries once the swelling has gone down. Right now we are praying he regains his vision. The doctors have said he may not. My brother is a quiet, kindhearted man who lives alone and keeps to himself. This attack has shaken our entire family to the core. We are asking for your help during Steve’s time of need. He will have many medical bills to include surgeries, rehabilitation, long-term care on top of the ambulance, transportation, emergency room visits, and hospital stays.
