On Saturday morning, April 18, 2026, Steve was involved in a devastating accident while trimming a tree near a power line. He was rushed to the hospital and admitted to the ICU Burn Center, where he remains sedated. Steve has suffered severe burns over 60–70% of his body and is facing a long and difficult road ahead, including multiple surgeries and extensive recovery.
As you can imagine, this sudden tragedy brings not only physical and emotional challenges, but also a significant financial burden for Steve and the Anderson family. The costs of medical care, surgeries, and ongoing recovery are overwhelming, and the family is doing everything they can to support Steve through this unimaginable time.
We are asking for your support, whether through prayer, sharing this page, or a financial contribution to help ease that burden during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for standing with the Anderson family and showing your love and support for Steve as he begins his journey to recovery.
I became acquainted with Steve when he joined the Eastland Baptist Church Singles department in 1994. Throughout the years we have worked in ministries together. In 2006 he married his sweet wife Michelle and they have three amazing sons. The oldest of which graduates from high school next week.
Steve and his family have been regularly involved in the East Tulsa Community and are some of the most deserving people of our support.
I am making regular visits to the hospital as well as constant communication with Michelle, Steve’s wife. We plan to update this page as we are able. All of the contributions received will go directly to Steve and Michelle’s personal bank account. Our financial gifts will make a difference during this extremely stressful situation.
