On Monday, December 22nd, my father, Steve, was involved in a tragic head-on collision with a semi-truck in Ramona, CA. He was life-flighted to Palomar Medical Center Escondido, where doctors were able to provide life-saving measures. My father sustained numerous life-threatening injuries, including multiple broken bones (pelvis, spine, ribs, sternum, right arm), a collapsed lung, a severed colon, internal bleeding, and a brain injury. He is currently unconscious, in critical condition, and fighting for his life. His prognosis is uncertain and his family is holding onto hope and prayers for his survival.
