Steve Beaver is the kind of person who shows up — for his family, his friends, and anyone who needs him. That’s why the loving ladies of Lakeview have created this go fund me page. His career spans delivering goods around the country by semi to selling park model homes in Las Vegas for the number one producer. Steve loves to BBQ and keeps all of us fed with delicious cookouts on the weekends. He also mows our yards in Lakeview and never accepts anything. Right now, he’s the one who needs our help.

Steve is courageously beginning to battle stage 2 esophageal cancer and is currently planning an intense chemotherapy regimen once his hernia surgery heals. This all hit him in early December and needless to say, the holidays were somewhat somber. Anyone who has seen a loved one go through cancer knows how physically exhausting, emotionally draining, and financially overwhelming this journey can be, and it all seems to move slow.

Chemotherapy is a full-time 8-week fight. There are long treatment days, difficult side effects, and weeks where working & normal routines simply aren’t possible. While Steve focuses all of his strength on healing, his friends need to help with the weight of medical bills, travel to and from treatment, and the countless unseen costs that cancer brings with it and health care doesn’t cover.
