You Supported Steve's Fight Against Colon Cancer. Thank you!

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

As many of you know, Steve has been bravely battling colon cancer for the past seven years. Through every setback, he has shown incredible strength and determination, and he’s never given up. If you know Steve at all, you know he’s a fighter.

Recently, Steve participated in a promising clinical trial in California but landed on the control arm of the trial. The meds he’d receive there can also be administered closer to home, so he opted out. Instead, he began a new round of chemotherapy and will continue working with his medical teams toward healing.

Steve is committed to continuing treatment and believes in the possibility of regaining strength and improved health. However, the road ahead is financially challenging, and he needs help.

Steve wrote:

"Please help me keep my family out of debt while I continue my battle with cancer. All donations will go directly towards medical expenses. Thank you for your generosity of spirit and for the love and prayers you have sent our way during these difficult times."

While insurance, the American Cancer Society, and other resources have been tremendously helpful, the family has already endured substantial out-of-pocket expenses for medical bills. The funds raised by this campaign will help cover the costs of ongoing expenses Steve needs to stay in this fight.
