For anyone who knows Steve, you know he has a true heart of gold. He is the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back, the first to show up when you need help, and the last to leave. For years, he has been a pillar of strength and generosity for our family, always taking care of others before himself.

Steve suddenly received the news and is scheduled to undergo major heart bypass surgery in the coming week. While we are optimistic about his recovery, the road ahead will be long. The surgery requires a significant amount of time off from work for healing and rehabilitation, which will unfortunately result in a substantial loss of income with time away from work, which means stepping away from both his job and the small business he’s poured his heart into. This news has been a shock to everyone who knows and loves him.
