Goodness, we never thought we would be here. My husband, Steve, has been diagnosed with stage 4 aggressive metastatic prostate cancer. After 6 days in the hospital, we are in a waiting period for appointments with oncologists and other doctors.

My job, should I have to take off, will require that my insurance premiums be paid monthly to them since I don’t make enough from my salary to have the premiums taken out directly. Please pray for us as we travel this journey. I never thought I would have to ask for help. Sometimes, though, we have to swallow our pride.

I was set to travel to Washington D.C. to advocate for breast cancer funding and research for the state of Louisiana. That trip has been canceled. This year, I will advocate for prostate cancer awareness from the steps of my own home as we fight for Steve. Thank you all so very much… please continue to share and pray.
